Downstream and Spillway Pond Campgrounds
The Downstream Campground is located on the East bank of the Missouri River below Garrison Dam near Pick City.
Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery
Located below the Dam, the largest walleye and northern pike producing facility in the world, stocking about 15 million fish each year from 16 different species. Open to the public daily from mid-May to Labor Day.
Lake Sakakawea State Park
Located near Pick City, on Lake Sakakawea. Camping, sailing and fishing available. The park has a full-service marina, including boat rentals, convenience store, and fishing guide services. Two boat ramps serve the park for access to the best salmon fishing on Lake.
North Country Trail
The North Country Trail — 4600 miles stretched across seven states all made possible by the hard work of more than 800 volunteers each year. This is the Great Lakes, the Northwoods, the path of westward expansion — a footpath linking communities from New York to Pick City, North Dakota.
